Bill and TooToo are fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a bed and breakfast in the mountains. The couple agrees: "After an exhaustive search for the perfect place, we were lucky enough to find Mountain Memories: a truly beautiful place with the most spectacular views and amazing sunsets you will ever see." Bill is a 22-year veteran of the hotel industry, and spent most of his career as a hotel General Manager in the New Orleans French Quarter. During this time, Bill managed all the madness associated with life the Big Easy (including Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, Sugar Bowl, Super Bowl and everything in between.) It's easy to understand why Bill wanted a mountain haven (home or not) to retreat and reside. TooToo worked most recently as administrative coordinator of a major clinic specializing in heart failure and cardiac transplant. TooToo's job was also stressful and hectic, juggling many tasks, physicians and employees. Instead of getting bogged down in the details, TooToo relished the opportunity to make life a little easier for those around her, including colleagues, physicians, patients and friends. Bill and TooToo bring to the B&B this attention to detail and desire to make others comfortable, with the hopes of making each guest realize how special he or she is. The couple loves making people feel welcome and at ease, and also loves learning a little about each guest. If you think this sounds like a romantic idea, you're absolutely right. Bill and TooToo embody romance, in all of its forms, and bring this sense of romance to the Bed & Breakfast. You could call the couple hopeless romantics, but they prefer to call themselves "hopeful" romantics. The amazing mountain setting sets the mood and atmosphere for romance and delight. The couple remarks: "The view still amazes us each and every day and we watch the sunset in awe as it slowly and sleepily makes its way down the valley."
